# How to solve no error code on the bike computer but the motor won't run

This article is dedicated to showing you how to identify the problem when you have no error code on the bike computer and you can't start the motor.

This error could be caused by the main cable, controller, or motor failure, please follow the steps to identify the issue:

Step 1: Check all the cable connections, especially the motor cable connection, and make sure they're well connected.

Step 2: Unplug the brake sensor to see if you can start the motor.
_If the motor is working properly, then the brake sensor might short-circuit._

Step 3: Unplug the throttle cable to see if you can start the motor.
_If the motor is working properly, then the throttle cable might short-circuit._

Step 4: Unplug the PAS (Pedal Assist) sensor to see if you can start the motor. 

First, remove the battery and unscrew the battery housing:

Second, slide the battery housing so you can see the controller:

Third, Find the PAS sensor cable and unplug it:

_If the motor is working properly, then the PAS sensor might short-circuit._

Step 5: If you have tried all of the above and still have the motor problem, then a new controller or motor is required to fix the issue.
